DAY 5:

 

 

 

 

 

off to ha long for some sightseeing and seafood! didn't had a good time there because of the incident that (almost) happened. the $94 spent was definitely not worth. with that amount of money it's enough for mel and i to stay for another 6-7 nights in the 2* local hotel! #cheapo

even though the seafood look scrumptious and makes you salivate, they were all served cold and tasted bland. and to add fuels to the flames, we almost got pickpocket-ed. here's what happened:

• after we left the cave, mel and i went to the upper deck to sight-see and camwhore
• there was this man who keep asking nancy, her bf and our driver enthusiastically to join the both of us on the upper deck to have a pic tgr
• up they came
• nancy realized that her camera was actually left below
• her bf went down to get it 
• when he got down, he saw a man touching our bags (obviously trying to steal smth) 

when we were back at the port, they made us pay extra charges (as claimed to be cooking charge and service charge) like wtf?! i wouldn't mind paying more if the meal was delicious and you guys didn't attempt to try stealing our belongings. guess they claimed all this nonsensical charges from us because they failed big time in trying to steal money/stuffs from our bags, loser.

since it was our last night, nancy's parents treated us to vietnamese buffet! :)
