22nd - 24th was spent over at kl/genting with the sisters and mom, angeline jie and her two adorable sons! even though i'm not exactly close to her, she got me a cake to celebrate my birthday in advance since she won't be coming over to sgp this week. how sweet! sometimes, it's really the little gestures that counts. this trip also mark the start of carolyn's nanny-hood, lol. she's never good with kids and she never plays with them, at all. infact she hates them. but over the 3 days she sticks to them most of the time and even managed to put the mischievous boys (both hb & i can't handle them) to sleep o_o
