after 7 years, i'm back at park view (primary school) standing on familiar grounds, on the very court where i first touched a volleyball. so glad that half the team turned up even though we were told to reach at 8.30am in the morning. played a few sets with the juniors and also with my very first bunch of teammates - arnold, ernest, kenny, samuel, fiona and yupin. everything feels the same, with the boys laughing at how i can no longer spike balls over the net. quite an embarrassing thing but its fine, at least i can still defend well! bruising knees, aching arms and thighs, but no regrets :')
